Donne Place, SW3

Located in the heart of Chelsea, this historic townhouse underwent a thoughtful refurbishment and extension to enhance its layout, natural light, and overall liveability from top to bottom. Working within the constraints of a compact urban site, our design prioritised a seamless connection between living areas and an intuitive flow throughout the property.

A rear infill extension was introduced, creating a luminous kitchen and dining space, with carefully placed glazing to welcome light while maintaining privacy. On the upper floors, reimagined bathrooms and reconfigured bedrooms optimise space and storage, all within the home’s existing framework.

To ensure a sense of continuity and tranquility, we employed a sophisticated material palette of soft whites, timber, and stone. Every aspect, from the staircases to bespoke joinery, was meticulously crafted for both aesthetics and functionality.

As experienced residential architects in SW3, our portfolio showcases high-quality renovations in Chelsea and its other local areas. This project embodies our philosophy of creating sensitive, enduring designs that honour the fabric of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods.
